The Arnold Sobel Scholarship Fund This scholarship honors RADM Arnold Sobel, whose affiliation with the Coast Guard began in WWII, when he commanded an LST and made many of the landings in the South Pacific. Those who knew him remember him for his many contributions to the maritime community, impact on the "one Coast Guard" concept through his reserve service, and his philanthropic efforts with the Coast Guard Foundation.

The Captain Ernest W. Fox Perpetual Scholarship This scholarship was established in memory of Captain Ernest Fox who served for 23 years in the Coast Guard. His family established the scholarship as a means of expressing their appreciation to the men and women at Aircraft Repair and Supply Center in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, where Captain Fox served four years as Chief of the Aviation Repair Division.
